Holocaust Education

Produced by the Center in 2008, "Make Injustice Visible: The Rose Beal Story" is a 14-minute DVD featuring local Holocaust survivor and Memorial docent Rose Beal. Designed for the classroom, Rose recounts the loss of human and civil rights, the personal indignity, and her family's quest for freedom during the Nazi control of Germany.

Please contact the Center regarding the availability of the DVD; a lesson supporting the use of the DVD is available through the lesson plan search engine. To schedule Rose Beal for a classroom or community presentation, please click here.

First drafted in 1995, the lesson packet "The Holocaust and Anne Frank" was designed to support the Boise exhibit of "Anne Frank and the World." The lessons are now available to enhance classroom instruction on Anne Frank. To review or download the document, please click here.
