Youth Lead Online Forum
"An assembly for the discussion of questions promoting public interest."
The Youth LEAD Online Forum provides a practical, first-hand approach to learning about systems of government and the citizenメs right and obligation to monitor their government, in addition to influencing the implementation of public policy. Participation is continuous over a one-year period and will be a guided, step-by-step integration of online collaboration and reflection.
The Forum began in 2009 as a communications platform for high school students in Idaho, Israel, Jordan and the West Bank who were selected by AFS Intercultural Programs and funded by the US Department of State to participate in a yearlong exchange that focused on civic engagement, cultural heritage and youth leadership.
